Penny Diamantakiou Group COO & CFO
Penny’s experience extends to Yahoo, WooliesX and Optus.
Penny is dynamic, vision orientated and transformative leader delivering compelling results across some of the world’s best known Global and Australian Tech businesses.
Known for her energetic personality, she is high impact, results orientated executive who has a passion for innovation led businesses looking to create leading edge experiences for customers on the quest to create and shape the “new normal”. Her experience extends to B2B, B2C, Direct to Retail and Omni-channel.
Penny has had an amazing opportunity to work across various ownership models including ASX Listed Companies [Top 20 and Top 200 Australian Listed Companies], Private Equity Owned Entities, Founder led, Global Multinationals [NYSE and NASDAQ Listed], Joint Venture, and APAC Regional based roles. This also includes organisations looking to effect liquidity-based events (M&A, public market sale, divestment, sell-off of specific asset classes, capital raising etc.)
Penny loves working in fast moving, rapid growth and technology led businesses. Her personal forte offers extensive experience in the areas of Business Transformation, M&A with a Data and Insight led lens. She has had extensive experience within Australia, North America, and Asia. She was also Asia based for a period of three years.
Penny is an authentic leader who inspires and leads in both the good times and very challenging periods and driven to co-create a winning high performance culture.
Penny looks to combine extensive C-level experience in disciplines such as business strategy, marketing, insights and analytics, digital & media and have delivered consistent results in all areas with leading Divisions with full P&L accountability.
Susan Thomas CHAIR (NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR)
Sue has had a distinguished career in law, corporate finance, IT and financial services.
She is an experienced company director and audit and risk committee chair.
During the 1990s, Sue established and grew FlexiPlan Australia (subsequently MasterKey Custom), a successful investment administration platform sold later to MLC. Sourcing strategic partners, growing administered funds, Sue’s achievements saw her acknowledged as an industry leader by the financial planning community and was at the forefront of the FinTech market.
Sue also serves on a number of listed boards: Nuix Limited, Temple and Webster Limited, Cash Converters Limited, and Fitzroy River Holdings Limited.
She brings strong commercial, technology, compliance and regulatory skills and background to her board positions.
Sue is also a Senior Executive Coach at Foresight Global Coaching, working with multinational c-suite executives.
Tom Kiing Director (non-executive)
Board member since July 2008, Mr Kiing is also a Director of Bridge Capital Pty Ltd, an Australian technology investment firm that manages a portfolio of investments in the IT sector. He currently also sits on the Board of: Melbourne IT Ltd, Australia’s largest domain name and web services business, and The Atomic Group, an integrated sports and entertainment.
Hugh Robertson Director (non-executive)
Hugh Robertson has worked in stockbroking for over 30 years with a variety of firms including Bell Potter, Investor First and more recently Wilson HTM. Among his areas of interest is a concentration on small cap industrial stocks and he currently sits on the boards of Hub 24 Ltd and Oncard International Ltd.
Maggie BeerDIRECTOR (NON-EXECUTIVE)
Maggie Beer’s career in the food industry spans over 40 years, beginning as a farmer at the Pheasant Farm in 1979, whereby the fresh, seasonal ingredients produced led to a farm shop in the Barossa, and soon after a Nationally acclaimed restaurant, followed by a commercial food production business, Maggie Beer Products. Each venture has always been driven by a passion to use only the highest quality ingredients but also to create a unique range.
Maggie was Telstra South Australia Business Woman of the Year in 1997, Senior Australian of the Year 2010 & once again in 2011, appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia in 2012 and awarded an honorary doctorate of Macquarie University in 2013, and honorary doctorate of the University of South Australia in 2016 in recognition of her achievements in tourism, hospitality and the promotion of Australian cuisine. In addition to this, Maggie established the Maggie Beer Foundation in 2014 to improve the food experiences for older Australians, particularly those living within aged care homes.
Maggie joined the board of Maggie Beer Holdings as part of the sale of Maggie Beer Products to the group. Maggie continues to play a pivotal role in the growth and strategy of the Maggie Beer Products business as well remaining deeply involved in the development of new and exciting products.
